در این مقاله، سیاست‌گذاری صنعتی به‌عنوان چالشی پویا بین دولت و بخش خصوصی برای دستیابی به بهترین شیوه تعامل، معرفی شده.

از این رو،‌ توصیه نگارنده مقاله آن است که در سیاست‌گذاری صنعتی، لازمه که تأکید بیشتر بر تعیین «فرآیند» برای تعامل بین دولت و بخش خصوصی باشه تا (به شکل متداول آن، یعنی) تعیین شیوه دخالت دولت در بازار.
