🚀 Quicksilver Mainnet Launch! 🚀

Hey guys, Quicksilver mainnet launch is scheduled for this Friday December 16th!

1. Testnet rewards distribution:
- The rewards will be distributed at Genesis, with a 3 months lock up period, and will be stakeable right away
- At the end of the lock-up period, 20% of the allocation will become liquid
- The remaining allocation will then vest monthly over a period of 15 months

To make up for the 3 months lock-up period, which was not initially intended when Testnet incentives were scheduled earlier this year, the team has decided to increase the allocated Tokens by 10%. Meaning, each validator receiving Testnet incentives will get an additional 10% on top of the original allocation they were meant to receive.

2. Inflation:
Inflation will be turned off at Launch. The plan is to turn it on a few weeks after Launch - we have a target date of Jan 28th in mind, but that might move depending on some factors, such as the LSM going live on the hub. The plan is to adapt as we go, and we will keep you informed on the plans every step of the way.

3. Foundation Delegations:
All Genesis Validators will be getting Foundation Delegation shortly after Mainnet Launch (within 24h of Genesis). The delegations will be reviewed every 3 months, following an initial period of 6 months after Launch.

What you need to know:

What to do if your seed phrase was stolen and your wallet was compromised?

Have you ever heard about people losing their funds by entering their seed phrase into phishing sites? We want to raise awareness to our community.

The most common scammer tactic is impersonating support personnel and offering to help by providing a link to an “official” website that can often appear convincing to an inexperienced user. The user enter their seed phrase in a phishing website and their tokens suddenly start to unbound. Usually scammers use automated noscripts that drain your wallet on the day when tokens become trasferrable. Due to the obligate lockup period of most of Proof of Stake chains, staked assets must be unbonded before they can be transferred. That gives an oportunity to recovery service like Cosmoshield to front run scammer before they drain the wallet.

Guys are focused on fighting the scammers since 2021 and already have helped to recover over 2M$ in user funds.

Also well known Keplr wallet in cooperation with Cosmoshield have integrated fraudulent domain blocklist into the wallet extension to warn users when they enter phishing sites that are in the blocklist.

To report the phishing site you can go to cosmoshield.org/app/dashboard and team will add it to the blocklist if they find it fraudulent.
