Masa network Testnet 2.0 Phase 1 has concluded. Team will be issuing rewards to 9000 Testnet Node Operators.
Notification emails for those who did not correctly enter their EnodeID in Phase 1 will be sent shortly. Deadline to make corrections is untill 05:00 UTC on June 10.

Phase 2 of Testnet 2.0 has started on June 1st, 2022 and will continue for two month
- You will have to fill up the registration form by entering the same email and EnodeID that you used in Phase 1.
- Please read the blog post and make sure you fill out the form correctly.

Subspace is launching Gemini Incentivized Testnet. More than 1000 nodes have already synced with the main chain.

Incentivized testnet rewards will start within 48 hours after 3000 nodes are fully synced and are actively participating in the consensus. Based on the current progress, we expect this event to occur late this week or early next, but it will ultimately depend on the overall network.

Kujira has launched testnet harpoon-3. Open testnet harpoon-4 is scheduled for 13th June. Mainnet launch about two weeks after, pointing at 27th June

Team plans to do load test on Friday. Not being in the active set now will not put you at any sort of disadvantage.

To fix the interquery timeout bug, Defund team is planning to start new chain at a clean state with snapshot of the current.

What will be fixed with this upgrade:
- Bring the chain back to normal tendermint sync speeds
- Bring down the storage the chain uses substantially

Subspace have reached target of more than 3000 fully synced nodes. That means on-chain rewards will be enabled in next 48 hours. (Saturday, June 11, @ 3 PM UTC)

Team is aware that many community members are still in the process of syncing their nodes. As more nodes reach parity with the latest blocks, we expect the quality of peers to improve, reducing the average sync time. Team are also constantly working on improving the node client to reduce the RAM consumption and many other optimizations.

You can use the block explorer to check the latest block.

If your node happens to be far ahead in block number compared to what you see on the block explorer, it means you are on the wrong fork. The same is true if you see the following message on your terminal/logs: Node is running on non-canonical fork.

To fix this you will have to reset your node by following instruction in the guide

Sei network will perform chain upgrade from 1.0.2beta to 1.0.3beta today roughly @ 16.00 UTC

As a validator you will have to upgrade the binary running on your machine at a block height 153759

To perform binary upgrade, follow steps bellow:

Subspace have released latest snapshot, jun-13, which includes fixes to a frequently reported issue that results in nodes getting stuck and displaying a “Waiting for farmer to receive and acknowledge archived segment” warning. There are still some edge-cases it doesn’t cover, but it should address the most common issues.
