I’m sick of the low IQ chav “nationalists” saying stupid shit like “British are not Europeans” and “Normans are not English”.
They don’t understand racial categorisation and that English is an ethnicity, British is a nationality, and European is a race.
They also don’t understand that Normans have now been in England for a thousand years, which is longer than how long Angles, Saxons, and Jutes had been in England in 1066 (6 centuries). Every English (and later British) monarch since 1066 is descended from King William I “the Conqueror” and thus have Norman blood. The entire English aristocracy has Norman blood and Norman ancestors. Even the Scottish Royal House of Stuart is Breton/Norman in the male line. Norman blood is found throughout the English population because of intermarriages and assimilation that occurred over the course of a thousand years. Even by the 14th century Normans had already been fully assimilated into the English population, having Norman, Angle, Saxon, Jute, Scandinavian, and Brittonic blood. Englishmen today have Norman blood, although it is more concentrated among royalty and aristocracy.
