I should clarify that although the British Royal Marines are similar to the US Marine Raiders, the Marine Raiders are not a Tier 1 Special Forces feeder unit. Almost all, if not all, British SBS Special Forces personnel come from the Royal Marines, but the US Marines do not have their own Tier 1 Special Forces unit.
