🔍a memorable Google Office visit

When my visa to Germany was confirmed, one of the first things I did was message Vohid aka, hoping to meet him in Munich for a chat. To my surprise, he went above and beyond—inviting us for a tour of the Google Munich office!

On our second day in Munich, we made it happen. Together with 3 uzbek students and a German guy as our guide, we headed to the office. Let me just say—it was an unforgettable experience!

From the vibrant 10x events room to the cozy music and billiard spaces, every corner radiated creativity. Of course, some areas were off-limits due to privacy, but what we saw was enough to leave us inspired. 🎶🎱

Over dinner, we had deep conversations about life in Germany, career opportunities, and what it's like to work at Google. Vohid aka was the perfect host—warm, humble, and incredibly generous with his time. 🙏

Fun fact: This wasn’t my first Google office adventure! A while back, Azim Pulat kindly hosted at Google Warsaw during the Perspektywy Summit. Both experiences have been amazing, giving me a glimpse into the innovation and culture that makes Google so special.

Big thanks to Vohid aka @vovopapcom for making this visit possible and for inspiring us to dream&act big! 💫

Intercultural Co-Creation for International Entrepreneurship Education (iCCiEE) Workshop in Munich, October 21-28, 2024!

This final workshop was a culmination of efforts to transform the way we approach entrepreneurship education on a global scale, blending academic rigor, practical insights, and cultural experiences into a truly immersive journey.

Highlights:
1️⃣ Advancing Entrepreneurship Education: We finalized the curriculum and module handbooks, crafting learning outcomes and teaching methods to ensure they meet the highest standards and are impactful for students. Through engaging discussions and collaborative sessions, we honed in on ways to make entrepreneurship education more dynamic, inclusive, and industry-aligned.

2️⃣ Diving into Munich’s Innovation Ecosystem: Munich’s ecosystem is a true breeding ground for innovation, and visiting local incubators and startups was an eye-opener! Highlights included gate - Garchinger Technologie- und Gründerzentrum, UnternehmerTUM & TUM Venture Labs.

3️⃣ Crafting a Marketing Strategy for the Master's Program: Our group work on marketing ideas and concepts helped refine our approach to promote the Master's program in entrepreneurship, from defining brand messaging to exploring ways to increase global visibility. This collaborative exercise underscored the importance of a strategic narrative that appeals to a diverse and ambitious audience of future entrepreneurs.

4️⃣ Cultural Exploration and Intercultural Dialogue: Our workshop also celebrated cultural exchange through immersive activities around Munich. We visited Neues Rathaus, enjoyed the stunning sights of Neuschwanstein Castle, toured the iconic BMW and Deutsches Museum, and relaxed in the beautiful English Garden. Whether taking in history at Nymphenburg Palace or feeling the thrill of Allianz Arena, each stop was an opportunity to connect with fellow participants, share perspectives, and deepen our appreciation for diverse cultures.

5️⃣ Looking to the Future: This workshop has been a powerful reminder of the role that entrepreneurship education plays in shaping the next generation of global changemakers. I leave Munich with not only cherished memories but also a renewed vision of how intercultural perspectives can elevate educational programs and foster innovation. A heartfelt thanks to all the organizers, professors, and incredible peers who made this workshop such an enriching experience. Grateful for the collaboration, insights, and friendships formed over the past 2 years. Excited to bring this energy forward and contribute to entrepreneurial education in meaningful ways!

Marienplatz’s Iconic Jewel: Munich Rathaus

Did you know? The Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) is not just a government building but a masterpiece of neo-Gothic architecture, built between 1867 and 1908. It’s home to the famous Glockenspiel, a mechanical clock show with 43 bells and 32 life-sized figurines, retelling historic Bavarian tales daily!

👀 Fun fact: The Rathaus boasts over 400 rooms and spans an area of 9,159 m² – that’s like a little city in itself! The intricate facade is adorned with statues, gargoyles, and decorations symbolizing Bavaria’s rich heritage.

From the tower, you can enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Munich – especially during sunset. 🌇

📸 Sharing my visit to this stunning place with some snapshots! Let me know if you’ve been here or if it’s on your travel bucket list.

🏰 Nymphenburg Palace

The Nymphenburg (Mermaid🧜🏻‍♀️) Palace was the summer residence of Bavarian royalty, built in 1664 for the Wittelsbach dynasty. Its name translates to "Castle of the Nymphs," and its Baroque (highly decorative and theatrical style in Europe 17-18 centuries) design is a true feast for the eyes!

🌟Highlights:
- The palace is surrounded by a 200-hectare park with canals, gardens, and charming pavilions like the Amalienburg, a luxurious hunting lodge.
- Inside, you’ll find the magnificent Great Hall with stunning frescoes and ornate decorations, perfect for Instagram-worthy shots.
- It's also home to the Museum of Nymphenburg Porcelain, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship.

Fun fact: The palace is so vast that it takes around 6 km to walk the entire park! Imagine the royal strolls back in the day. 👑
