If anyone is interested in learning some basic reconstructed Proto-Indo-European vocabulary, there is this course on Memrise.
It even has pronunciation of the words which I think is a nice bonus. Since these words are reconstructed by linguists (there is no written PIE text), we will never know for sure how the words were actually pronounced. However this course provides an educated guess.
Speakers of Indo-European languages will likely spot some similarities with modern words.
