I’ve been banned from contacting James Costello who is currently serving 5 years in HMP Manchester for “stirring up racial hatred”. I’ve never spoken to James about politics, we only spoke about family and lighthearted things. I believe I’ve been banned because of my politics as 7 other people have been banned from contacting him, including Mark Collett and David Clews!

This is completely unacceptable and is an attempt to cut him off from his friends and other nationalists. I phoned the prison and they said I need to contact their security department by post, so I’ve written them a letter asking them to explain why they’ve banned me and telling them I hadn’t broken any rules and I’d like to appeal the ban. I’m hoping they get back to me soon and I’ll let you know what they say.

In the meantime, please consider writing James a letter to let him know we haven’t forgotten about him. I can’t imagine what it must be like knowing you’re serving multiple years behind bars. I know we all have busy lives but it takes 10 minutes to write a quick letter. Remember, James was out week in, week out campaigning for our people. He was such a dedicated activist and I have no doubt he’ll continue to be throughout his life.

Just been reading in the news about how our prisons are so full that The Prison Governors’ Association (which represents 95% of all prison governors) has written an open letter to the leaders of political parties saying that we will be out of prison spaces within days, meaning prisons won’t be able to take anymore prisoners. They’ve asked for immediate action and for prisoners to be released early. Apparently, it needs dealing with before the election as it’s an emergency.

I can think of half a dozen people they should let out immediately and I wonder if it will have an impact on Sam’s release date.

If you ever needed an argument that our system needs overhauling, this is it. Millions of our people have no representation. I’ve always argued that the system is set up in order to leave us ineffective and that simply playing the establishment’s election game while expecting to make major change isn’t going to work. Nationalists have to think in more revolutionary ways. The stuffy, old, boring methods are finished.

Hello Labour …now is the time for real nationalism to rise

I'd like to take this opportunity to say congratulations and well done to Thomas Bryer, Craig Buckley, Matt Darrington and Patrick McGrath; four Patriotic Alternative activists who stood as candidates in yesterday's election.

We didn't win any seats, but we won in other ways:

- We gained publicity for Patriotic Alternative and the English Democrats, strengthening the relationship between our two organisations.
- We had numerous articles written about us, helping to get real nationalist talking points into the public's consciousness.
- The four gentlemen in question and all the activists who helped them gained experience and started making a name for themselves in their local communities.
- And ultimately, our activists stood up as strong, confident and positive role models, and who knows what kind of ripple effect that will have.

Well done, lads. We are all very proud of you.
