• Русский мат как музыка
[rooskij mat kak moozyka]
Russian foul language is like music.
🔻In ancient Rus' there was the concept of 'поле брани' [ pole brani ] (swear battlefield), when the enemy was forced to go on the attack (which incured more losses than to defend) with the help of obscenities and swear words.
🔻Of course, it is absolutely inappropriate to use swearing while talking to unfamiliar/elder people/colleagues/kids. However, it is an integral part of Russian culture and history.
PS Let me know if you'd like to learn some words from the video😉.

🔻Russian r's are formed by flapping the tip of your tongue against the alveolar ridge (behind your upper teeth)--you only need to flap once or twice.
🔻While playing kids can make rolling 'R' sound in the tractor noise, i.e. when asked what noise the tractors do they say very good TTTRRRRRRR. Therefore the TRRR/DRRR method (#2 in the manual below) is quite successful.
