I like factorio. Friend gifted me it once as an installer.
Ever since I finished it after 486 hours, couldn't get rid of feeling it changed my brain chemistry, in a way embedded it's fracturing algorithms and proportional spilt systems fractally upon my experience of the world.
With every new thing I learn, my reach stretches further. I was a really dumb kid who had difficult time concentrating on simplest of tasks like doing basic maths (Always liked trigonometry tho) and couldn't think about anything but video games and jerkin off. Now I run SSH server in my corridor, local neural network, 3d printing machinery and a movie streaming service on my pc locally.
Still like jerkin it tho, but ever since I assembled my first pc, in a way it embedded itself upon my algorithm, all the logic put into developing each module, transferred to me via understanding of its work and connect principles, of course with some losses. Knowledge and a way of thinking transferred through handing equipment developed by someone else.
It's like reviewing code to learn from others mistakes but by handling machinery. In the end, it's just coded in a way my senses make it a physical object with special properties, nothing much.
I am afraid I once will wither, I now only being tasting the high of life as it feels like for the first time in my life I am able to think clearly, without any brain fog obstructing my processes.
