🇵🇱 Polish MP Konrad Berkowicz has celebrated the anniversary of Grzegorz Braun using a fire extinguisher to put out a Hanukkah menorah in Polish parliament. At the time, Braun claimed he did this to restore “normality” and later added that “those who take part in acts of satanic worship should be ashamed.” Both Konrad and Braun are members of the far-right Konfederacja alliance. Berkowicz is a vice president of the extreme right New Hope party, while Braun is the leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown and currently a member of European parliament. Braun had his Polish parliamentary immunity removed because of the incident, and was charged, however he regained parliamentary immunity through being elected to the European parliament. Despite most of Konfederacja voting in favor of revoking Braun’s immunity at the time, this celebration shows it was largely a strategic move, rather than an actual condemnation of his actions.

BREAKING: Palestine Action steal sculptures of Israel's first president, Chaim Weizmann, from the University of Manchester.

Weizmann secured the Balfour Declaration, a British pledge written 107 years ago today, which began the ethnic cleansing of Palestine by signing the land away.

Weizmann described the indigenous Palestinian population as "the rocks of Judea, obstacles that had to be cleared on a difficult path".

From the Balfour Declaration to today, Britain remains an active participant in the colonisation, genocide and occupation of Palestine.
