Allegedly, Tiktok may be cut off from Chinese relations and bought by Elon Musk. The Extend the TikTok Deadline Act intends to postpone the ban 270 days later from the originally set date, to give TikTok and its parent company ByteDance the time to give up its assets and social media to musk.

So, allegedly, an attempt at a bluff to buy out the competitive company of Meta and Twitter, has gone out of control when users spitefully turned to the actual Chinese social media platform.
