Fired for having a heat stroke.
I started a new job last week in a warehouse. As we all know most of America is experiencing a heat wave with insanely hot temps. This week it has been 100 degrees or hotter in the warehouse. I've been drinking water non stop. Using a cooling towel and a neck fan to keep cool while moving and working. We'll today I got really light headed and dizzy. My vision was blurry. I let my Manager know what was going on. He told me to sit in his office for a bit a cool off. About 20 minutes go by and I start to feel better and return to work. Another manger approached me and asked me to come to HR with him. The HR rep had me fill out an incident report. After I filled that out I was asked to return my work badge and hard hat and was told I was terminated.

A reminder that especially with the very hot weather recently, and for conditions like this in the future, to take care of yourself. Keep yourself cool; drink water, avoid dark colored, baggy, thick, or lots of clothing. And for your living space, if you do not have a well insulated or air conditioned living space, open up your windows and use fans to keep the airflow.
Heat stroke is awful and disorienting. Stay safe ❤️

A Job Search Consultant did an experiment on how much do recruiters pay attention to resumes. The Resume contained complete nonsense and overall made zero sense, yet he was given approval for 29 interviews out of 100 applications.

Wittenoom; Australia's 'Chernobyl'
Wittenoom was a prosperous mining town in Australia's Northwest. throughout its history the town lived around blue asbestos dust and fibers. despite many warnings and calls for action, neither the government nor the mining company that owned the area would do anything. The company was aware of the affects of its residents living under constant asbestos exposure, but continued to abstain from any action. Of the 13000 total residence, 2000 would die from lung related cancers and disease, and countless more would suffer from other effects. The town is abandoned, and is one of the most dangerous places to visit in Australia.
This ghost town is one of the many testaments to how people, and workers, lives are exchanged for profits.
