Abuna Yemata Guh is a monolithic church located in  Ethiopia. It’s carved into the tall sandstone mountainside. An intense and dangerous climb takes you to the entrance. Wall paintings dating back to the 5th century and ancient architecture await.

Art meets science. 💡

This conductive and kinetic artwork is oddly fascinating to watch come together.

The trees do not touch.

Crown shyness is a phenomenon in which the crowns of fully stocked trees do not touch each other, forming a canopy with channel-like gaps.

The ‘dance like’ beautiful phenomenon is most prevalent among trees of the same species.

In 1930 the Indiana Bell building was rotated 90°.

In a month, the 22m lbs structure was moved 15 inch/hr, while 600 employees still worked there.

There was no interruption to gas, heat, electricity, water, sewage, or the telephone service.

No one inside felt a thing.

The Zaouli dance, practiced by the Guro culture in the Ivory Coast, is a dance honoring women (but performed by men) of incredible technical difficulty.

The feet move while the upper body remains immobile.

Video i recorded in 2021 in the south.
