Levitating food transport! 🥓
Food handling with magnetic levitation.
Beckhoff Automation’s XPlanar system is powering a new Free Movement System (FMS) from Provisur Technologies that reimagines how food products are moved in processing plants.
Instead of belts or rollers, XPlanar uses magnetically levitating movers that glide over easy-to-clean surfaces.
Each mover is individually controlled, enabling flexible routing, grouping, and spacing of food items without mechanical constraints.
For food processors, this means higher hygiene, fewer maintenance needs, and more adaptable production lines.
No belts, no friction, no contamination!
P.S. Super curious if this one will fly, and how good it scales.

Hin Sam Wan, which means Three Whale Rock, is a 75 million-year-old rock formation jutting majestically out of the mountains in Thailand.
It earned its name because from the right perspective, it looks like a family of whales.
