Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree

This tree species is famous for its unique, multicolored bark.

These vibrant colors are a natural phenomenon that occur as strips of bark shed at different times. When the outer bark peels away, the inner bark appears bright green, which ages over time, turning blue, purple, orange and maroon.

It is the only Eucalyptus species whose natural range extends to the Northern Hemisphere, and it is native to the Philippines, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

This tree is also commonly known by names such as Mindanao Gum or Rainbow Gum.
