Flat polished Green Fluorite

Lol. Here's my makeshift flat polishing set up.
I do have a professional 8" flat lapidary grinding/polishing machine, but i can't work bigger specimen's on it..
I came up with this until i purchase or make something bigger..
Tbh, i'm suprised how good it works lol.
I'm using a slab of foam, which i recessed the Fluorite speci down into so it wont move. Then mounted the hose for a light steady stream of water as i'm grinding/polishing..
I don't normally use a grinder but the discs i found work really good

☝️This is very interesting to look into..
I have 2 friends that live in Romania & speak about this. I've been meaning to research this further..
