Google Teaching Robots to Think For Themselves
The tech giant is apparently pushing along an AI revolution far smarter than voice assistants on phones, by developing robots that can understand language... and then think how to react.
A new model called PaLM (Pathways Language Model) allows bots to perceive words without being pre-programmed to complete tasks.
A demonstration shows a weird hoover-like robot with an arm being told, "I am hungry," before it whisked itself off to the kitchen to get its commander some food.
Would you trust this guy with your lunch? (RT)
