Sixty ancient settlements with stone houses underwater found
Archaeologists found them in the Arab-Persian Gulf and dated the construction to 5,500 B.C.
The same officials talk about the flooding of the Persian Gulf basin about 8,000 years ago.
It is logical to assume that the rise in water levels flooded the ancient cities, the inhabitants went to the coast of the gulf.
