Gondola is a characterization of someone of the highest degree of reason and wisdom. He looks on at events with little to no reaction. He once concerned himself with the petty rabble the world has to offer. But, seeing his inability to the worlds problems he found only one ability... inaction. It connects to us especially on 4 chan because we realize the hopelessness of our actions to the hearts and minds of people, so we take to a life of jaded avoidance. We only admire Gondola because throughout all the strife he has had and will witness Gondola found only spiritual unfoldment in his inaction while we on the otherhand live our lives in a constant state of misery and demoralization. What's the takeaway? Be more like Gondola... Observe the world for what it is not how to influence it. You need to be your own navigator and explorer in a world of constant decay.
