Aspyr Media managed to get the latest update to Sid Meier's Civilization VI for Linux approved and it's out now.
Not big enough for an article, but just to mention Valve updated Steam Play Proton 3.16 again to 3.16-9 including a few fixes: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/releases/tag/proton-3.16-9
