LOST: Kind of depressing.
Favorite show of all time. Bar none.
But man. So much terrible shit happened to these people.
A lot of people get mad about the Flash Sideways being the after-life and giving them a happy ending, but holy shit.
You still got the dark ending too.
\- Boone: Dead from traumatic injuries.
\- Shannon: Shot dead.
\- Ana Lucia and Libby: Shot dead by someone they thought was a friend.
\- Mr. Eko: Death by smoke monster.
\- Charlie: Drowned.
\- Paolo and Nikki: Buried alive.- Alex, Russou, and Carl: All killed by mercenaries.
\- Michael: Blowed up.
\- Charlotte: Death by Aneurism due to hopping through time.
\- Daniel Faraday: Shot dead by his own mom. Alive long enough to realize she'd sent him back to die by her hand.
\- John Locke: Thrown out of a window and paralyzed by his father. Shot by Ben. Driven to Suicide, talked out of it, only to be strangled to death by Ben.
\- Juliet: Sucked into a magical well and succumbs to traumatic injuries.
\- Sayid: Self-Sacrifice, literally blows up.
\- Jin and Sun: Drown together.
\- Jack: Dies from a stab wound.
Like... so much of the main cast all ended up dying horribly lol. All of that happened to them. All of it mattered. If this show just ended with all of that and not the way it did, people would have complained that it was way too depressing.

Just can not think that there is a better tv series
I grew up with LOST. I am from Tokyo. I watched renting out dvd and binged watched with my mum.
Why do I think people still do not fully appreciate LOST. I just don't think there is a better tv series.
GoT, Breaking bad, yes I love it. But LOST is just deep... can not describe but deep.
