Confusing Question Regarding a Cast Member
I can't find it on IMDB, Wiki, or any other sites that provide cast details and it might be because of an important, yet innocuous, redundant detail in the searching algorithms. I didn't watch the show as it aired but since my first watch around 2012 I've watched it 3-4 times and I just started a new rewatch after roughly five years. In the Pilot episode we have a brief few moments with the literal pilot of Oceanic Flight 815. Ever since my first watch this actor has felt recognizable but not identifiable. And for the first time I'm trying to figure out who the actor who played the pilot in the pilot episode is. For obvious reasons the search algorithms aren't differentiating "pilot actor" from "pilot episode" no matter how many searches I attempt.
Does anybody know who played the pilot because I know I have always recognized him from multiple ancillary and support roles but I can't place the guy.
It's a silly question that may have been asked on this forum before but I can't find the answer and I'm on the third episode now, which means my Google acuity isn't working today. I appreciate any guidance toward who this familiar actor is.
