Is Lost your favorite Tv show or what position would you put it in your top 5 or 10?
It's hard for me to decide if it's my favorite, but it would definitely be in the top three.
While I can't claim to understand it perfectly—in fact, I don't even feel like it's a series meant to be fully understood—there's something about the story and the characters that speaks to me, something that makes me feel things that no other tv show can.
There's something so heartwarming about most of the characters and the story that unfolds, that they make me feel like a "safe place."
Have you ever felt simething similar?

Tattoo Idea // 5 Seconds of Fear
Hello all!
I started watching this show in the midst of a messy divorce from an abusive marriage. One of the things that have helped me to overcome trauma and fear is Jack's story early on where he talks about giving the fear five seconds and then moving past it. I've made it somewhat of a mantra in my life, and I'd love to have a permanent reminder on my body.
I planned to just have "5 seconds" tattooed, but a friend so kindly told me that men... might take that as a challenge. Or at least an opportunity to give me unwanted advances about how they can relate.
Is there a symbol or something that I could add to it that'd be relevant? I've also considered "5 seconds of fear" but I really don't want to have the word fear tattooed on my body.

I finished the show a few weeks ago and I can't get John Locke out of my head
He was the embodiment of tragedy. They could've given him the happiest of endings but decided not to.
I think his ending was probably decided before his beginning. John Locke was designed to have a tragic beginning, a tragic middle, and a tragic end.
It is unique and I do respect it, but if anyone in all of fiction deserves a happy ending it was him and I don't think I'll ever get over the "I don't understand"
