Starting Season 1

So I am starting Season 1 of Lost and i’m already on episode 3. I’ve heard people say that this show is really great.

I want to see for myself mostly but what do you guys think about the first season?

Definitely think the mysteries have been pretty interesting so far, especially the weird iteration thing.
Can’t wait to see the rest of the season unfold.

These first 3 episodes have been great so far!

Rewatching LOST after years away and… why am I crying every episode?

So I decided to start a full rewatch of LOST for the first time in years and I did not expect it to hit me this hard. I’m only back in Season 1 and literally every single episode so far has made me cry.

I don’t know if it’s the nostalgia (like visiting an old friend you didn’t realize you missed this much) or if the writing/characters are just that powerful when you return to them after so much time. Maybe it’s both.

The mix of mystery, music, and those raw character moments, it’s like the show knows exactly how to poke at every emotional nerve. Even episodes I thought were just “setup” back in the day are landing differently now.

Anyone else ever do a rewatch after years away and find yourself way more emotional than the first time around?

Could someone PLEASE tell me the name of this specific track from the show’s score 🎼🎼

It plays over this tiktok and I vividly remember it from watching the show like 13 years ago but can never find the name of that specific one on Spotify. I even tried to shazam it and got no results which surprises me bc i feel like it’s a pretty iconic one from the show. So suspenseful and great.

Just finished Lost for the first time ever

I am in awe. What a beautiful ending. As someone who struggles with grasping the concept of death and life’s purpose, this show puts it magnificently. I had goosebumps throughout the final few minutes of the finale. Easily makes it’s way into the list of my favourite shows of all time. Watching it at this time in my life, and the concept of the show revolving around destiny and everything made it so so special for me. An unforgettable experience and I can’t wait to rewatch it very soon.

Anyone feel like this show is a one time and done show?

I feel like once you know all the mysteries and the plot twists, it loses the fun of the suspense.

LOST Panel (and other stuff) at Comic Con Midlands Telford 2025

This weekend, I visited Comic Con Midlands in Telford, attended by LOST actors Maggie Grace (Shannon), Andrew Divoff (Mikhail Bakunin), Jeremy Davies (Daniel Faraday) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko). Worth noting that Josh Holloway (Sawyer), Ian Somerhalder (Boone) and Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) were originally set to be present as well, but had cancelled due to various reasons.

It wasn’t crowded, so I had a great opportunity (nerves aside) to have a small chat with each of them during autograph sessions. Needless to say, they were all lovely. There was also a panel with the cast. I figured I would share some of the things that were revealed, as well as some small fragments I recorded. 😊

The panel:

* Maggie Grace, Andrew Divoff and Jeremy Davies were present for the 45-minute panel. Adewale was not, despite being listed on the schedule. However, the screen behind them did not show him, so I assume the convention was made aware of his absence ahead of time.
* The first question asked by the host was about their “earliest memories of meeting each other”. Slightly awkward, since the three actors on stage never shared the screen. **About his experience on the show**, Divoff said: “It changed my life. I have nothing but beautiful memories and, I must say, I’m so happy to have met these kids \[referring to Maggie and Jeremy\] after the fact.” (Jeremy patted Andrew on the back in response)
* **About his first day on set**, he explained that he had barely slept for over a week because he was nervous and had a lot of dialogue to remember (he would record it and play it back to himself). Evangeline Lilly was a comfort to him, asking him every day on set if he had gotten some sleep the night before.
* **When asked about their thoughts on the finale**, Divoff replied he was initially confused, but that he was advised to rewatch the episode, as it gets better each time. He would advise the same to people that didn't like the finale (but I noticed he didn't actually say that he'd done so *himself*).
* **About their last days on set**, Divoff mentioned how he was told by Carlton "by the way, you're dying in the next episode". Maggie was shocked, asking him "THAT'S how they told you??". When he mentioned meeting Dominic Monaghan on the day of filming and being worried about being the person that would kill him, Maggie sarcastically said "I would hope he at least got a phone call, that would have been a novel idea..."
* Maggie Grace mentioned that, while she couldn't be more different from Shannon, one of the most challenging acting moments was figuring out "from a medical standpoint" how to deliver a huge monologue after being shot in a certain region. Turns out Shannon was supposed to have a lot to say before dying in Sayid's arms, but that "obviously" they decided to cut all of that material they filmed - it didn't make sense to her.
* Andrew Divoff mentioned that he had thought of a backstory for Mikhail, but that he wouldn't share it. He had hoped that we would eventually learn what happened to his eye. On that subject, he said he loved the reveal of what was behind the eyepatch. On the day, the brilliant make-up artist on set figured out how to do that prosthetic underwater, since Mikhail had to arrive from the pool. Maggie intercut, asking "Was it Steve LaPorte??, and he confirmed, which was cute. She continued to talk about what a genius LaPorte was (retired now), and that any aspiring make-up artist would benefit from researching his work. My mind went to the make-up that was used for her corpse in "Hearts and Minds".
* **When asked about their favorite characters**, Divoff said "polar bear", and Davies said "Is it wrong to say Smoke Monster??"
* **When asked about bloopers**, Maggie Grace brought up the infamous garlic prank during her romantic scene with Boone. Divoff described a scene of him running (D.O.C.?), then tripping, then standing up again before awkwardly falling backwards from a small hill. Jeremy Davies claims that he’s the
