Questions about Locke's ending

When Ben decides to kill Locke, did he know that the Man in Black was manipulating everything to make that happen? Did he play the Man in Black’s game, or was he also a victim being manipulated by him? Obviously, later on he was manipulated too, but I mean that specific moment. It just doesn’t make sense to me, because despite everything, he was always very devoted to the island. Anyway... I just know that this was never really clarified for me.

Need input from r/LOST Comunity: Jess is Watching LOST for the first time Millennial TV Podcast

OK- I recently had my first child and needed a creative outlet for my limited sparetime. I have seen LOST many many times, it's easily my favorite show; I am obsessed with introducing the show to my friends and family, and I've decided to turn that obsession into a podcast. I've tagged this first time watcher, but the comments will likely have spoilers.

My friend Jess is a cinephile (letterboxd.com/ajessobsessed) and I am excited that she has agreed to watch one episode per week and talk about it on a microphone: The Millennial TV Podcast .

The first two episodes of the pod are already released (Pilot 1/2 & Tabula Rasa). I have already banked recordings with her through White Rabbit (Jess loved 'sad boy' Jack) and yes, she loved Walkabout. Tune in to hear her talk about it. Our next episode recording is House of the Rising Sun.

I need help from the r/LOST community: now that you know what episodes are upcoming - what are some good prompts, questions, thought experiments, theories, or trivia that you'd like me to bring up with Jess from Season 1? It could be anything. For example, I know I'm about to ask her if she'd stay on the beach or move to the caves? or... I've decided not to point out the numbers as they're popping up, but you KNOW that once I get to Numbers, I'm going to point out examples of them popping up all along. These are just examples, feel free to share anything you'd like. Ideally\- if you watched LOST as it aired, what are some spoiler-free theories you remember having? What were you and your friends predicting would happen?

I'll read your emails on the podcast \- you can email me at MillennialTVPodcast@gmail.com . If it fits and vibes with the discussion, I'll read it on the podcast. Your emails can either be for Jess (spoiler free) or for me , since I do a "Neil's spoilery musings" segment at the end of each episode.

Thanks for reading, I hope to hear from you!

Finished Lost💎

I just finished watching Lost. I actually started it because of some Instagram reels. Coincidentally, I realized I began watching on the same date their flight crashed-September 22, just 21 years later. I felt like I was living among them. My only regret is that I missed it all these years, but better late than never. Ofc, I had plenty of doubts while watching, especially during the flashbacks, flash-forwards, and present-day scenes. Indeed, a masterpiece 💌

See you in another life, brother...

"You did not like the old me, Kate" s5 ep 11, can someone explain

Jack says this to Kate in this episode and I didn't understand why he thought this... Can someone explain? Is he saying this because he believes she chose Sawyer over him?
