Ideas for a LOST Choose Your Own Adventure Book
Hi everyone!
I recently watched LOST for the first time (I finished the series a couple weeks ago) and became absolutely OBSESSED with it! I think it's honestly one of my favorite shows now.
I became inspired to write something to do with LOST, and I thought that a choose your own adventure book would be so fun for a show like this! I just wanted to run some of my ideas by you guys and find out what you would like to see!
I was thinking that the reader could choose from 3 different original characters with their own backstories and skills to play as. They would have an opportunity at the beginning to move throughout the plane, which would choose what group (the fuselage or the tail section) they end up in. They could choose to go on certain adventures which would impact their story for the rest of the book. I won't say more as it might spoil the series, but these are my starting ideas!
Is there anything you guys would be interested seeing in a project like this? Whether that be ideas for storylines, character interactions. or specific choices, I would love to hear any and all ideas!
Thank you for reading and have a great rest of your day!

Best twists that didn’t end an episode (spoilers for the whole show of course)
Thinking of scenes that could have preceded a big LOST noscript card but came mid episode instead, like when we first meet Kevin Johnson in Ji Yeon or the Christian Shephard reveal in Par Avion.
What are some of your favorites?

Could anyone else but Desmond…
Have turned the fail safe key to implode the hatch and have lived through it? I always thought Desmond was special because of the electro-magnetic energy he absorbed from turning the hatch key but instead was he already special because he could absorb the energy and survive? Could the other survivors have done the same and would they have lived to tell the tale?

Why a show like LOST can't be made today..
I first watched Lost when it was airing, and since then I’ve rewatched it at least six times. But as I was rewatching the first season last night, it really hit me how everything else on TV feels so subpar now. A show like LOST could never be made today.
I honestly don’t understand what happened since the golden age of TV. Why don’t we get shows that feel like they’re firing on all cylinders anymore? It’s not just the writing, acting, or score...it’s like today’s shows have no soul. There’s this weird sense that no one really cares about what they’re making anymore.
I can’t quite put my finger on it… do you guys have any idea why that might be?
