I quit my job to start my own thing but am very lost about what to start. What should i do?
I am a 24yo female and i was working a big fin big money corporate job. But i absolutely hated it. I was miserable my entire time there. I dont want to do another job. I want to start something on my own. So i resigned, and told myself im gonna take a few months to figure out what to start and just start it. Its been a month since i returned home and im still super lost about what i wanna do. I am lowkey questioning if im just an intrinsically lazy person who just doesnt lile to work but my track record says completely otherwise. Any ideas for what i can start? Anyone been in this place before?

Some of the hate for Kate is ridiculous
It's one thing if you find the her annoying or boring. I don't agree but to each their own. But some of the hate for her is just so ridiculous. I've seen her called a murderous psychopath who manipulates others to get what she wants. that's Ben, not Kate. Kate kills her abusive scumbag stepfather and the MIB. that's it. Her ex Tom was a terrible accident and her bank robbing accomplices weren't killed. she drugs her husband to protect him from any trouble he could get in.
Also the argument that she goes back and forth between Jack and Sawyer isn't even true. she's never with both men at the same time. does she have feelings for both? yes, but she never sleeps around with them and doesn't interfere when she sees Sawyer is with Juliet. if she was this manipulative vixen people claim she is she wouldn't have cared and made a move on him.
and lastly these are all flawed people, Kate included. but her misdeeds are considered so much worse than others who have done the same or worse. Sawyer killed an innocent man. Sayid tortured people. Jin beat people up for the mob. Even in a non criminal way you had other characters involved in affairs yet Kate is the bad one for having feelings for two men.
Sorry for the rant.

When did sawyers change happen?
in season 1 sawyer went through a dramatic change. he starts to be an actual caring decent guy towards the end. he started off as a racist guy who conned Kate into kissing him for inhalers he didn’t even have. by the end
he tells Jack about his encounter with his dad.
risks his life to defend and save Michael’s kid.
what do you think caused his change?

My Lost Theory: The Bomb Worked and Created a Real Alternate Timeline (Not Afterlife)
I’ve seen a lot of explanations for the flash-sideways, but here’s the one that makes the most sense to me after finishing the show:
I think the bomb actually did work at the end of Season 5, and it created a completely separate timeline where Oceanic 815 never crashed. This new timeline isn’t “purgatory” or a spiritual waiting room , it’s literally a different branch of reality caused by the energy release.
The way Season 6 starts supports this.
The plane doesn’t crash, the island is underwater, Desmond is suddenly on the flight, Charlie says “I was supposed to die,” and Juliet’s last words are “it worked.” All of this lines up perfectly with a successful reset.
In this new timeline, everyone’s life is slightly different but still connected, like the universe is trying to correct itself. And the most interesting part is how the memories start coming back. When people meet someone they were deeply connected to in the original timeline, the memories from the island rush back into their minds. It’s like the two timelines touch each other through emotional contact.
The church scene doesn’t necessarily mean everyone was dead the whole time or that the sideways world was a pure afterlife. I see it as Desmond was the first one to remember everything from the original timeline, and once he figured out what was happening, he started helping the others remember too. He brought everyone together, and the church meetup is simply the moment where all of them finally regain their memories of what really happened.

[3x10 spoiler] The meteor hitting Mr. Cluck’s implies the Island’s influence stretches far beyond Earth
In 3x10, the meteor strike basically blows open the scale of what the Island/Jacob/Source can affect. If that event is part of their usual pattern of nudging outcomes, then we’re not just dealing with Earthbound fate tweaks, but rather a cosmic-level manipulation. That’s an entirely different league of influence.
Which leads to some interesting possibilities, here are a couple that I thought of:
* The Source might be older than Earth itself. If its influence is cosmic, it doesn’t need to have originated here. The Island could be sitting on top of something that predates the planet entirely.
* Earth/Island could be a central point in the universe’s system. The fact that humans can “turn off” the Source, a power with cosmic reach, suggests this place is more than a random hotspot. It might be the control point of a much larger framework.
* The Island might not be unique, just the most intense version we’ve seen. Just like there are smaller pockets of the energy scattered across Earth, the Island could be one pocket among many across the universe. There could be a much larger or stronger pocket elsewhere, the way the Island is stronger than the other spots on Earth.

I think the ending of Lost was the best way they could have ended it… reasonably
I’m new to this sub so idk if this is a popular or unpopular opinion, but I like the ending of lost. I think it’s easy to see why people don’t like it; it’s confusing, it sorta comes outa nowhere, it was unpredictable.
But like, that’s Lost. That describes LITERALLY the whole show. I think a lot of people misunderstand the ending thinking that they were dead the entire time, which would be pretty dumb. I get that. But anyone that takes the time to understand the last two seasons knows that’s not what the ending was saying.
I’m not hear to explain the entire ending (at least not in the body of this post) but just why I think it was good.
It explained a lot, like the flash sideways, what Jacob’s deal was, why the island is important.
While also leaving a lot unanswered.
Lost was a wild ass ride and having to write an ending for a show like Lost is an unenviable job. How do you end a show like Lost that clearly had no end in mind from the get go? The ending they came up with isn’t the prettiest bow, but damn is it an admirable one.
I like the purgatory thing.
I liked Hurley being the one.
I liked Ben not dying, even though f*** him. I hate him.
I liked the ending of lost. 8/10.

Finding out about the “hidden episode”
Still thinking about that time I found out about the epilogue called The New Man In Charge. Almost brought me to tears. It was like discovering LOST again. I couldn’t believe I was watching a whole new episode (even though it was just 12 mins or something) that I’ve never seen before. How I wish I could remove LOST from my memories and watch it again for the first time… maybe in another life, brotha.
