OMG THIS SHOW IS CRAZY

I'm only on season 2 episode 20 but I feel like I'm going crazy. This is the first time in such a long time that I'm watching a show and I actually don't know what's going to happen and I can't predict it. There's so many interesting storylines and things keep getting intertwined!!! I just hope it doesn't disappoint me later!!

First time watcher. I'm loving season 4 so far.

Hey everyone,

I just finished watching Episodes 1–9 of Season 4, and I feel like my emotions have been through a blender. This season is intense, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about all the new twists and characters.

4x1-
Starting with Naomi’s death hit hard. That satellite phone call and her last words were surprisingly emotional—I didn’t expect to feel so bad for someone we barely met. The scene with Hurley discovering Jacob’s cabin was so eerie.

And then seeing Locke appear out of nowhere… this show really knows how to make me second-guess what’s real. Also, Desmond delivering Charlie’s message was heartbreaking, and Jack’s confrontation with Locke had me on the edge of my seat.

4x2 –
The freighter crew’s backstories were fascinating, especially Daniel’s reaction to the news of Flight 815. Miles, Charlotte, and Frank are instantly intriguing, and I love how each flashback adds depth without slowing the story.

The tension between Jack’s group and Locke’s faction is really ramping up, and I can’t decide who to trust. But, I do not trust the new characters at all and I feel like near the finale they're really going to backstab the survivors.

4x3-
The deal-making and negotiating in this episode was so tense. Sayid trying to retrieve Charlotte without bloodshed made me admire him even more, and the time differences Daniel discovers are blowing my mind. I love how the show keeps throwing physics and science into the mix—it makes the mystery feel real and high-stakes.

4x4 – Trust issues were everywhere in this one. Kate and Sawyer’s dynamic continues to make my head spin. And the tension with Locke and Ben in the Barracks is electric. Off-island, seeing Kate’s trial and the reveal about Aaron was shocking. I actually felt emotional seeing her raise Claire’s son—it’s such a weird mix of sadness and hope.

4x5
Okay, this is my favorite episode in the show as of now. Desmond’s flashbacks and time jumps are crazy, but also heartbreaking and hopeful. The whole “constant” concept with Penny had me tearing up. The writing here is just phenomenal—it’s both mind-bending and emotionally resonant.

Desmond is officially my favorite character. Also, the phone call that they had when she called him in 2004 and the conversation had me crying for several minutes. Seeing Desmond's face like that, had me smiling while the tears kept flowing.

4x6 –
Juliet’s flashbacks are tragic and fascinating. Her dynamic with Ben is just so twisted though. Like ngl, Ben did suck so much at times in this episode. Like you're such a fucking psychotic bitch for murdering a man because you think Juliet belongs to you.

And then… the reveal that the plane wreckage was completely faked by Widmore? There was a mastermind who faked the plane wreckage in the first place? Like I cannot process that, because I didn't even consider someone doing that. My jaw literally dropped. The idea that 324 bodies were used to stage the crash is chilling. I can’t stop thinking about the layers of deception—no wonder the survivors are so paranoid. I think this is more shocking than them realizing that they shouldn't have left the island.

4x7 –
The off-island storyline for Jin and Sun was sad and tense, especially knowing the outcome of Jin’s fate.

4x8 –
Michael’s BACK!!!!!!. Seeing him infiltrate the freighter was cool, but nerve-racking. I feel so bad for him with all of the trauma and guilt that he has. Like I want to kind of give him a hug. The tension between the survivors and the freighter crew is reaching a boiling point, and I can feel that something huge is about to happen.

4x9
This episode absolutely destroyed me and this is my second favorite episode after Desmond's flashback one. I was still thinking about the fact that Rousseau got shot so suddenly in the last episode and was so sad over that. Alex’s death at Keamy’s hands was heartbreaking, and seeing Ben grieve really humanized him in a way I didn’t expect.

The attack on the Barracks felt chaotic and desperate—my heart was racing the whole

time. The craziest part of the tack of course was seeing the black smoke monster that Ben called. What the actual fuck? Like I was screaming, BEN literally summoned that monster. The flashforwards with Ben recruiting Sayid as an assassin are chilling.

Season 4 is equally thrilling and emotionally exhausting.

Why does The Monster sound like mechanical things and chains?

I just watched The Incident Part 2 (final episode season 5).

The chains that >!wrap around Juliet and pull her down and then into the proto hatch swan site!< are very reminiscent in sight and sound of the early show smoke monster grabbing Locke and dragging him through the jungle to the hole in the ground.

Wow!

I've just finished the show like right now. I need time to soak in everything but I have to say that this is the best thing I've ever watched. It had some slow moments of course but generally I just fell in love with everything. The characters, the storyline, everything!!. I'm disappointed it took me so long to come across this masterpiece.

I loved the ending btw. I don't understand what the complaints were but maybe I didn't see the show in the same light as others. For me it was perfect.

My favourite character was John. I think the way the character was written was perfect even its portrayal by the actor. I loved him from the beginning. My least would probably be Kate(although Jack might be competing with her for the honor😂), she infuriated me so much in season 5 but I guess that was the intention 😂.

Favourite season 5, edging ahead of season 1 by just a bit but I liked the chaos of it all.

Anyway, those are my immediate reactions to the whole thing.

I genuinely used to think all of the cast members were my family members when I was super little and now I’m old and I still connect the two

Okay so I was watching the show as a toddler it came out in 2004 and I was born a few months prior in 2003. I am half white half Pakistani. I have green eyes and curly brown hair like Kate and my mom was super fat so I used to think mom= connected to Hurley and Kate and sayed very obviously I thought he was someone like my dad. And my mom had a brother who really looked like sawyer. Idk if it’s something to do with it being the first time I remember being a conscious person for connecting all of the characters to myself and my family but I did and still do. Now I’m rewatching the show as an adult and actually understanding the show and it’s so awesome. It’s a really good show. But did anyone do this or do this with another show?? I specifically remember thinking I’ll look exactly like Kate as a grown up she is so beyond beautiful.

Gosh now that I’m really thinking I used to connect Claire too cuz my mom’s a redhead but she dyes her hair and she is naturally a blonde. And my brothers name was Ben so wth. Oh and I went to primarily half black half Muslim school so even walt and Micheal made sense to me I just thought he’s probbaly in my school.

Also I can’t belive I’m around same age as Shannon, Claire and Kate now. When I was little that seemed to be forever from then. Now it’s here. One day I’ll watch the show again and think they were so young

Hi all, I just rewatched 4x11 where Richard tests Locke as a child. He shows him few items and tell him to choose what belo ng to him. Locke then chooses compass, sand and knife. Richard seems disappointed because of knife. How would you interprete this scene?

Shocked…but not shocked…just shocked

First time watcher here. I’ve been doing good not popping up every 5 minutes 😅 however, what I just saw? The end of season 4 episode 8. Not trying to spoil for other first time watchers, but omg. To survive THAT long by yourself on some solo ish, just to get taken out during an ULTIMATE mission?! I’m “lost” for words 😅. I just had to get that out. Shout out to this whole community tho! Series Finale Time.

This show has been so great. I picked it up off my girl recommending it to me and i’ve been hooked since the pilot. A lot of highs and lows and some of the best plot twists i’ve ever seen in tv. I saw one guy on here said by the finale it all makes sense. Every question will be answered and it seems to be heading that way. No spoilers pls.

A few theories

1. Rousseau's crew got "the sickness" because around that time they didn't enter the numbers in the hatch.
(The hatch worker who intentionally didn't enter the numbers, so they could draw the map on the wall.)

2. Rousseau didn't get shot by her crew because the Island protected her.
Also, she did not get the "sickness", because she was pregnant.

3. The "sickness" was created by "the incident" (nuke detonated).

I’m looking for an old online friend I lost contact with about 5 years ago. I’d really appreciate any help trying to reconnect with him — this means a lot to me.
Back in 2018–2020, I used to play a lot of Roblox Jailbreak, mostly through a YouTube livestream hosted by HelloItsVG. It was a great community, and I made many friends from it. One of my closest friends was a user named lackingprityboy1224. We became really good friends and even added each other on Discord. He told me that he lives in Qatar.
Over time, we built a lot of trust and eventually swapped Roblox accounts. I gave him my main, ventboxes, and he gave me his. We continued playing together as normal. But one day, I joined a Jailbreak server with Robux loaded on my account, and a user named dragoneil1 threatened to hack me. I didn’t believe him — until I got kicked and couldn’t log back in. The next day, I tried messaging my friend (who now had my old account), but I realized he had blocked me on Discord. At the time, his Discord was named AbyXIV.
Also, I want to mention that my friend who blocked me on Discord — lackingprityboy1224 (aka ventboxes) — probably did it by accident or something. Recently, I was looking through some old Roblox groups and found that in 2021, he was actually asking where I had gone. I only discovered this just this month. After that, I took a long break from Roblox. A few years later (in 2023), I started playing again on a new alt account called agendda, but sadly, I lost that one too.
Now in 2025, I’ve been thinking a lot about those times and how much fun they were. I really miss those friendships, especially the one with lackingprityboy1224. I’ve been trying to find him, but his Roblox profile shows last online 4 years ago, and his Discord account is deleted. I still have his YouTube channel, which hasn’t been updated in 5 years:

I’ve commented on his videos but haven’t heard anything back yet.
During that time, I also had a friend named GalaxyBoys, who I trusted with my Roblox password. Unfortunately, he hacked me and spent all my Robux. He used to have a YouTube called BrightShows Roblox, but now he goes by Demon Clan and has around 70K subscribers.
There were also many other friends I used to play Jailbreak with. Some of their Roblox usernames I remember are: AaronFromYT, soccersamid, Cap3089, Realvipul, and doomster678. I don’t remember all of them right now, but these are the ones that come to mind.
