LOST leaving Netflix
I’m re-watching the show for the first time since the regular broadcast ended (can’t believe that was over 15 years ago)! At any rate, my daughter is a first-time watcher. We are almost to the end of Season 1, and I notice right now as we sit down to watch episode 23 that it now says “leaving soon” on Netflix.
Any idea where it will land next? Would like to continue after we finish Season 1 - and we watch at a snail’s pace unfortunately (schedules only allow 2-3 episodes a week).
Thanks!

6th rematch completed. What happened to Rose and Bernard?
We never seen what happened to them after MiB and Desmond left and after the island began to fall into the Ocean slowly. I assume they made it out alive but it's never been talked about again not even in the 10min after credits

I think I got spoiled, and I don't know if the show is worth watching.
I just got a spoiler on tiktok and I don't know if it's really true or not, and I saw it may just be bs.
The caption was: >!The Lost creators confirmed multiple times that the character weren't just trapped in purgatory, but that wasn't true.!<
Is this true? Even if it is, is the show worth watching?

Just finished the last ep
And cried like a baby throughout! Every time someone got their memory back, When Locke and Ben talked outside the church, Jacks final moment with Vincent. I’m a big sap and cry during movies and TV often, but this one felt deeper to me. I found myself tearing up throughout the day just thinking about it. I have never connected to every single character like I did with this show, I truly love and appreciate everyone. (Locke is my favorite) I know the ending disappointed a lot of people, but I loved every minute. LOST is a masterpiece.

I distinctly remember the man in black and Jacob appearing way earlier in my first watch
I’m now on 507 and I still haven’t met them. Am I misremembering this or do they come later?
Edit:I looked it up. He’s played by Titus Welliver. I remember seeing him in the show early on but I haven’t seen him yet

This is the saddest show I've watched in a while, I need moral support (first timer thoughts)
Wow, well I just finished the series for the first time and I'm kinda speechless. I can't believe I slept on it for so long despite watching a few eps here and there as a kid/tween. It truly is one of the best shows I've ever watched, up there with early GOT, Breaking Bad and Dark (I'm sure the creators of that were Lost fans). I'm glad I was able to binge, because I simply wouldn't have the patience to wait a week between episodes anymore lol
Season one was amazing, so I was a little disappointed with 2, simply because it moved kinda slow compared to the first, but seasons 3-5 are some of the most addictive shit on the planet. I was constantly theorizing and trying to figure out what was going on without spoiling anything for myself, which was hard. S5 was probably my favorite of the bunch, because the Dharmaville plotline was amazing, and Suliet is prob my favorite couple of the show. The ending broke my f*cking heart and I was soo mad at everyone for coming back and doing that to James (who is my fav character cause who can resist such a beautiful man?)
S6 was my least favorite simply because it became more fantasy than sci fi, which is fine, but I prefered the earlier mysteries I guess. Locke being really dead was a massive shock and it made me kinda sad that he went that way, but his last convo with Ben sorta made up for it; and as much as I hate the MIB, I also felt really bad for him in a way. His "mother" and Jacob were the real villains imo, even though they are also tragic figures (it doesn't help I can't think of Pellegrino as anything other than Lucifer lol). Jack dying alone on that beach was a massive punch to the gut so soon after Jin and Sun who are such a power couple.
Honestly my biggest complaint is that the Widmore storyline ended in a bit of a meh note and that Richard's character wasn't further explored. He wasn't at the church, so what does a 200 year old man do when given freedom? Also, Sayid was "infected" and went kinda evil, until he wasn't?? I was a tad unclear on that. Plus, him going into the afterlife with Shannon instead of Nadia didn't fully feel right to me.
As for the characters, they are all mostly amazing, I don't think I disliked any of them as a whole, even though at times they pissed me off. I never fully warmed to Ana Lucia, and Libby and Eko felt underused. I guess Michael is possibly my least favorite, but I did feel for him and everything he went thru. (I was also a Skate fan at the beginning but hated how much enfasis was put on the love triangle and Kate jerking both men along for so long, plus both she and Jack were awful for not coming clean to Claire's mother the second they found out she was alive and well).
As for Ben, he's easily the best "villain" or maybe antihero? of any series I've seen. The actor is extremely talented and I'm glad he redeemed himself because I liked him a lot. I'm also happy he and Hurley took Walt with them in the epilogue, because that kid had the saddest backstory on the show.
One thing I didn't fully understand was the alt timeline in S6. Was it a truly different timeline ,or was it an in-between space, kinda like purgatory, where everyone was mostly happy and had to wait for the others to arrive in order to go to heaven, or move on or whatever? I was glad to see everyone reunite, but at the same time it was so sad, both me and my mom were sobbing like crazy.
Anyway, I'm sorry for being so rambly, I just wanted to share my quick, initial thoughts and ask my question. Tell me about what theories you had when first watching. For a while I was convinced they were all dead and the island was hell, with Jacob and the MIB being God and the Devil, before switching to them being stuck on a time loop of sorts and having to find a way to break the cycle in order to escape/die.
Also, Kate and Sawyer surviving was also somewhat depressing to me. With the amount of ptsd those two have, I don't know how they could ever be happy again. I really hope

they somehow made their way back to each other eventually, even if they were meant to be with someone else (as per the church scene). Claire at least had her mom and toddler to keep her going.
