What are the extras on the Getting Lost Blu-ray?
What are the extras on the Getting Lost Blu-ray?
Are there all the full interviews with the cast and creative team?
How long are the interviews?
In short, the more information I get, the happier I am.

This episode. There is just so much emotion packed into the last Act. Boone. Claire. Shannon and Sayid.
Jack and Sarah.
Wow. Just wow.

How do you explain what Lost is about?
I was rewatching Lost and my 20yo daughter asked what it was about.
Me: There’s a plane crash and people have to survive on an island, but the island is kind of mystical, and each episode includes one character’s flashbacks that parallel the main storyline, and there’s some time travel...its kind of hard to explain.
Her: Does it just end up being someone’s fever dream?
Me: Uh, not really but kinda?

How would you describe LOST in one sentence?
"the island has feelings and the numbers are bad"

Do you think the lost ending is better regarded since streaming platforms and binge watching has became more popularized.
Having just finished the show I was amazed with how much I loved the ending. I had heard plenty of bad things from people who had watched the show when it aired and was told how bad the ending was. Even having some people compare it to the GOT ending in terms of writing. So I went into the last season with low expectations but was amazed by how much I loved the entire season. I only had minor complaints with Locke and sayids character writing and thought Claire was a bit unbearable. But as far as a complete ending I thought it checked the boxes and gave the characters a satisfying end especially jacks conclusion. Besides the point having seen people talk about the ending who watched it week to week compared to people who binged it there outlook on the ending is completely different. I think this may be a result of the show airing over 6 years and also the lack ability to rewatch without dvds at the time. Maybe people missed Easter eggs and hints leading up till the finale. Anyways that is my two cents on it if anyone has any thoughts on this or disagrees with me I’d love to hear it.

Lost
I was an 8–9-year-old boy when I watched this TV show for the first time. There are no words to describe what LOST means to me. It’s more than a TV show.
It’s a part of me — a very important part of my life. It shaped me, and after that, life became much more complicated. But now I understand: this is my destiny.
If you feel every word while reading this, then you understand what Lost really is. Some stories don’t end — they stay with us.
I’d love to hear from others who feel the same connection

Top 5 characters
I just finished lost yesterday and I keep thinking about it. It really is a great show and was ahead of its time . I wanna rank my fav to least fav characters just because.
1. Locke- How can any dislike Locke?? He is genuinely just a well written character and has so many layers to him. He had the saddest backstory and I just love him.
2. Sawyer - I’m not sure if Sawyer is liked in this community yet but he was my favorite in the first to season. I like how you know what you’re getting into when you talk to sawyer. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything and simply just says what it is. He has the second saddest backstory in my opinion and he liked to be disliked but at the end of the day he wanted to be a good person.
3. Sayid - I loveee Sayid ( I hate the way they did him in season 6) he was the one character you can relay on and called bullshit. You could just trust him to do the right thing for the group and without him where would they be? He was the most needed character out of all of them. There were times where he let his emotions get the best of him but overall he was with the shits.
4. Hurley - Hurley is just one of those consistent characters. Never switched up and was extremely loyal. And useful. He was just always willing to help out and his backstory’s and story arch were one of my faves. The whole lottery thing and the numbers had me on the edge of my seat.
5. Jin - I did not like Jin at first but when he started helping building the raft I began to really like him. He was also a loyal character and despite his differences between both Sawyer and Michael. He still was willing to die for them. ( that was my fav group btw). He was just always willing to help out.
Honorable mentions are Desmond and Eko.

Spoilers-ALL: So Sayid/Shannon
Reading some posts and I've always loved Sayid's character but hated how the writers did him dirty in S6.
I also hated his relationship with shannon..
But fuck okay now I get it...kinda sucks for shannon..but him crying and flipping out over the woman he loved (mind you, crash to Shannon's death is under 2 months). Shannon was a distraction...then unconsciously used her death to process the loss of nadia who he never got to bury and actually feel that loss emotionally.
I just had that aha-moment after watching this show countless times. Is this an accurate assessment of Sayid/Shannon.....or was this overtly obvious and I just never saw it? 🤣

Hurley and Sawyer in season 6
I always enjoyed their dynamic and in season 4. Sawyer starts protecting the other survivors, including Claire and Hurley. So I was very disappointed to see in season 6 they barely even interacted, I don’t even think they said a word to each other in the last season. What does everyone else think ?
