Question about lost that contains spoilers in the question itself

According to the “Lost Explained” YouTube channel, there is an episode where we go waaaaaay into the past and meet mother and MIB and Jacob. A lot is explained and Jacob kills MIB. Other stuff happens and explains the Egyptians etc.

Here’s the thing though. I have 2 episodes left and this hasn’t happened yet. The sub just blew up and that’s where I am. Now unless our journey into the past is in the next 2 episodes, what’s going on?

Stranger in a strange land

Okay, I’ve rewatched this show countless times. About 8+ since it aired. I always hear that S3:EP9 stranger in a strange land it’s the worst episode of lost… and I don’t get it. I’m not here to say it’s good or even great, but I don’t think it gets the rep it deserves.

Yes, of all the jack backstory it’s the weakest. That’s okay. But what’s happening in the present? He let his friends go, and now he’s alone, facing the consequences of his actions

I think this is a good episode, within the season and the place of the story that it is, despite it being the weakest jack backstory(IMO).

This may be a hot take, I like this episode more than some of season 6. While parts are not great, at least it fits well into the story of the season without being an abrupt decay of characters we knew previously.

At the end of the day, it’s hard to say what the “worst” episode of this show is… but is it truly this one?

It seems fine every play through, I’d be happy to hear what you guys prefer to skip over instead. Let me know. <3

Thoughts on Kate as a first time watcher

I just finished lost for the first time and I just had to come on to this subreddit to say that it really irritated me the way that throughout the entire show Kate kept saying to people that she was innocent of the crime she was accused of. I’m sorry, but murdering someone in cold blood but saying you’re innocent because that person was bad isn’t how that works. You’re still a murderer…
