Why didn’t the DHARMA initiative ever check in on the island after the purge?
Surely not EVERY Dharma person died during the purge, right? After The Others took over their little commune, why didn’t anyone else investigate just what the hell happened there?

Why Does Finishing the Show Make Me Feel So Lost (Lol)
By no means is Lost "The best show of all time" for me. There are several shows where the storyline is just more tightly written (The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire), but all of those shows leave me feeling "Wow, what a great show!" Lost ends and it makes me feel like I lost a friendship or someone died.
Is that what the writers intended? Is that why they named the show that???? ARE THE NUMBERS EVIL???

I put a big rant on here yesterday about how season 6 was bad and I just wanted old Lost back. That was after episode 6. I’ve seen episodes 7, 8 and 9 now. In the words of John Locke “I was wrong”.
I’ve deleted my previous post because I don’t want to spread negativity unnecessarily. Season 6 definitely had a messy start, the temple stuff was by far the weakest moments in almost for me (so far, though I really can’t imagine it gets that bad again).
So I was wrong. Dr Linus, Recon and Ab Aeterno are really strong, back to being Lost. We are getting some answers, the show is flowing again and it’s great. All the points I wanted them to go back to they finally are.
No spoilers for the rest though please, I’ve got just 8 episodes to go until the end. So excited!

I just realized something(spoilers)
Locke went out in a similar way as his father. Makes me wonder if that was some kind of divine punishment for listening to Ben and everything else that followed after Season 3.

The haunted damn jungle
I hope this doesn’t count at a low-effort post, I’m more of a lurker than a poster so excuse me if this isn’t good enough content but:
I’m on s1e3 and Michael says “I’m gonna find your dog. I’m just gonna go walking through the haunted damn jungle…” and I thought it was funny/ironic because he ends up haunting that damn jungle
Made me giggle

Season 4
On a rewatch after 10 years. And I have such an appreciation for Ben. He’s a sociopath and mass murderer, which is obv terrible! But he is soo smart and manipulative! It’s honestly an experience to watch him manipulate so many different types of people, and I’m baffled at how successful he is. I’m enjoying his character so much this time around! My first watch I was so angry at his character and now I just appreciate him! His character brings so much depth to the story and kinda makes all the crazy coincidences and odd situations make sense once you see what a true mastermind he is. That’s all! I apparently like the crazy bad guys. Thanks for listening!

LOST: Circle - A truly remarkable epic
I’ve been watching LOST Circle, a fan made chronological edit of LOST, and it has been a genuinely profound experience. This isn’t just a different cut of the show. It feels like embarking on a long, deliberate journey, the kind that slowly reshapes how you think about the story and the people within it.
For anyone unfamiliar, LOST Circle presents the series in chronological order, removing flashbacks and flash forwards so events unfold as they are experienced by the characters themselves. What that creates is something surprisingly epic in scale. The story no longer feels fragmented. It feels like a single, continuous march through time, choice, consequence, and coincidence.
What struck me most is how immersive this version is. Watching it this way feels less like consuming episodes and more like living alongside the characters as their lives unfold. The emotional weight accumulates gradually, and by the time major turning points arrive, they feel earned in a way that’s difficult to describe without spoiling anything. It’s slow, intentional, and deeply affecting.
The journey itself is the point. LOST Circle encourages patience and reflection. It asks you to sit with these characters, to carry their histories with you rather than receiving reminders along the way. That makes the experience feel richer and more demanding, but also far more rewarding. It feels mythic in scope, like an epic where fate is always moving quietly in the background.
The craftsmanship behind the edit only reinforces that feeling. The presentation is seamless and polished, with thoughtful transitions, cohesive visuals, and careful attention to detail. Nothing pulls you out of the experience. Instead, it draws you further in, letting the story unfold with a sense of inevitability and momentum.
This doesn’t replace the original series. It stands beside it as a companion piece, offering a new lens through which to experience the same story. For longtime fans, it feels like rediscovering something you thought you already knew. For newcomers, it has the potential to feel like a massive, character driven saga unfolding over time.
LOST Circle made me feel like I was witnessing an epic rather than watching a show. A true journey. If anyone else here has experienced it, I’d love to hear how it landed for you. And if you haven’t, it’s absolutely worth the time.

The Brig
Was the plan always to make Anthony Cooper the real Sawyer? Because that came together beautifully and I didn’t see it coming.

Just binged watched LOST in 3 weeks.
Hey there fellow Lost enthusiats , i am from India and had heard about this show for a long time but i searched on all streaming services and it wasn't available so i had to use some not so legal methods to download it and watch it and this blew me away.(I apologise for the piracy)
Since i am from india and not a Christian so i am a bit confused about a few things and what really happened in the finale , i realized the show specially the finale had some christian references.
First thing I don't understand is that Jack died and only a few like katie , sawyer , the pilot , milos and richard made it, jack saw the airplane flying while dying in the jungle and smiled , but after that the credits roll and we see the plane wreckage of the oceanic flight which made it seem they were all dead when the plane crashed , so the whole story was just the "what could have been" before they died ? Their lives flashing before their eyes ? Or the island and lives they lived there were real , any of it ?
Also in the end jack meets his father and they go inside the church and then his father opens the door and there's light at the end , does that mean thet finally moved on (from a Christian point of view) ? I understand that there's concept of purgatory, so was the alternate timeline in season 6 just a purgatory? If it was then how come katie was there because she was on the plane and was assumed to be safe and live her life and die naturally? So the rest waited for them in purgatory for her to join ? How does that work.
Also in the whole show there's heavy references of my culture like the dharma people saying "Namaste" and the organisation being named "DHARMA" which we call our religion in our local language , the island had a temple with hieroglyphics probably hinting at egyptian influence , the statue near the beach was also some Egyptian god , so that was pretty neat of them to merge so many religious and cultural influences , just wanted to point that out.
Overall i liked the show , probably would have loved it if jack had made it alive but all good things die one day , just wanted to post here because I didn't understand the christian references in the finale season and episode , hope people can shed some light.
