Question about Sun in S4/5
Watched the show a million times and this one has never occurred to me.
When the O6 leave the Island, their story is that Jin died in the crash, and that only Boone, Libby and Charlie survived for any time.
But Sun got pregnant on the Island - and not particularly early on. She gets pregnant just over a month into her time on the Island, and I assume any OBGYN would be able to establish the time of conception just like Juliet did. And even if they didn't determine that, if Sun went to full term she would appear to be 10 months pregnant.
Obviously they did get away with this part of the lie, I'm not really interested in that part - what I'm interested in is how they might have planned for this. Did they just cross their fingers and hope for a premature birth? Plan to name someone else as the father if someone raised the issue? And why didn't they just list Jin as a survivor who then died?

Lost: Circle is a must
So I know a lot of posts about this subject appears lately, but I just want to add how different it is.
The experience of the flashbacks a regular part of the story makes it all interesting af!
Even though I know what's coming up, even though I hated these parts in the original cut, I find it all fun and interesting.
I can't recommend it enough, obviously only after some rewatches or at least know your way around this world, but I've been binging it non-stop and I can't thank the editor enough for this project.

whats the backround song in s1 e1 when charlie, jack, and kate are serching for the cockpit and it starts to rain?
It comes up frequently in season 1 and 2, mostly when somebody is walking through the jungle. I suppose to evoke a mysterious feeling, because the song is somewhat unsettling.
My guess is that the intstrument used is the xylophone, and it repeats 5 notes over and over.

Charlie and Locke's relationship
Did Locke ever have a reaction to Charlie's death? I feel like Locke was really busy doing other stuff in S3 while Charlie was busy trying not to die, to the point that after they bury Eko the two kinda never interact.
Any thoughts on that relationship?

Finished my first re-watch and "The New Man In Charge"
I just finished my first re-watch, my second time viewing. The first was the original airing which ended in 2010. I was just a troubled kid then, a senior in high school headed for some Charlie Pace style drug problems, and I didn't have the emotional maturity or cognitive bandwidth to really appreciate the show. It's a force of nature, and "The End" was absolutely beautiful.
I've also watched "The New Man in Charge," it was intriguing. "The End" really brought a sense of closure to the show, seeing the characters remember the importance they played in each others lives was really emotional. I felt like "The New Man in Charge" left a door wide open for future seasons of the show. Personally, I would love to see what happened after Lapidus and the rest landed, Claire reuniting with Aaron, Walt back on The Island, etc.
I remember the writers really wanted a definitive end date to avoid ending up in ABC's chains, and so I am kind of surprised at how much potential they deliberately left for future seasons. Thanks for watching with me, I've been watching the exact same epidotes in my re-watch as a few of you and it's been great to read your posts.

New Episode of "Not Penny's Podcast" is LIVE!!
Apologies for those who have been listening. We had to take a couple weeks away for life happenings but we are back with a brand new episode focusing on Rebecca's first thoughts after seeing "White Rabbit" and "House of the Rising Sun"!
If you are not familiar with the show, as we are still relatively new, it is a two-person show with me, Michael, a "Lostie" who watched live during the original broadcast plus multiple rewatches, and my co-host, Rebecca, who is watching LOST for the VERY FIRST TIME!
A few people gave us some early feedback that I was spoiling things and being a little too loose lipped during discussions, so starting with this show I hope you will notice there should be a big change there.
Thank you to all who are listening, and we hope you keep going with us! We are doing 1-2 episodes of LOST per podcast episode so our hope is to get through the series in roughly a year through weekly uploads. The show is up on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and we are working on other platforms including YouTube, Amazon Music and Pocketcasts. Hope you all enjoy!

claire's hair in season 6
I'm in the middle of season 6 right now and cannot stop noticing how messed up claire's hair (i assume a wig) is. So many people on this island have long curly hair, and it was normal the first 100 days on the island. Did she forget how to wash her hair? Her fake dirty make up is also crazy looking sometimes.
(lighthearted- i know she’s been struggling in that jungle!)
did anyone else notice this?

Is it possible a couple of characters worked for Jacob, but it was never explicitly confirmed?
The characters I'm really considering here are Libby and the psychic (forgot his name).
Let's look at Libby first, whilst on the island a lot of viewers suspected she was an "other" like Ethan was. I think this suspicion continues on when the tailies meet our main group and when she's getting close to Hurley. Then after her death we get the shock twist that she was in the institute with Hurley and it never really went explained. I've seen it commented before that her behaviours are almost a little stalker-ish. What if she was following Hurley, what if Jacob had tasked her with this off the island, which is why she self admitted into the institute. She was there watching Hurley, seeing how he would be as a candidate. Maybe she was crying in that scene because Hurley had found the spirit of her husband, but she couldn't intervene. She then gets close to Hurley on the island, because she already knew him quite well after studying him off island.
Secondly, the psychic that Claire sees. If we take his comments in Eko's flashback literally, then he was a fraud and he had no psychic abilities. What if Jacob just employed this guy to get Claire on that flight. Knowing she was already into star signs and that sort of spiritual stuff, he thought making contact with her as a psychic might be the way to convince her to get the plane. It might also explain his daughter coming back to life, maybe Jacob saved her using the powers from the temple?
Just some thoughts, I might be stretching!
