Fridge in the apartment I rent broke. The compressor turns for like 5 seconds, does nothing and stops from overheating. And this piece of shit is 16 years old, so finding a replacement part and paying a contractor to replace it is either impossible or costs half the price of a new fridge. And I may have to pay for it.

I fucking hate renting. I want to own my own place. I would get a cat, hang a giant whiteboard on a wall, paint my walls purple, have grounding in all outlets and never go ouside.
But I feel very conflicted about buying anything in Russia. To me that would kinda mean that I gave up on escaping from this unjust shithole.

I have even more fucked up news for y'all. My roommate was storing MEAT in the freezer. No container, just rawdogging a glacified piece of flesh. And after the freezer stopped working, it thawed, releasing a mix of blood, fat and other juices. This meat juice slipped into the gaps and got under an undetachable metal part. So now it gives out this vomit-inducing smell of death, and I was not able to fully get rid of it after I tried washing everything with dish soap. It's even more over now.
