How to choose good anime

I wanna know if you also do this or it's just me who's a weirdo

There's gotta be a meaning behind this. As if two disjoint groups of people behaved really differently, but I don't know which groups - I seen this on both Shoujo and Action, Romance and Historical.

Maybe I am actually a mental case?
