Anyway I reloaded a save and we gracefully dispatched the guy. We start looting the outpost, starting with their tomato farms.
We also got a Persona Monosword, an Eltex Cape, and two Psylink Neuroformers!

So I linked with the monosword's sentient AI, and customized its looks to something more interesting...

I also used the neuroformers to unlock psychic powers! It unlocked the Archon skill tree automatically for some reason.

I took the Technomancer tree as well, and got a psycast that lets me raise the quality of any item I want (for example, the poor-quality monosword I just got)
