But what if it hatches 👁
There's a short book "The song of the chick" by Alexander Lazarevich about a species between birds and mammals that were born from an egg and survived cold conditions of ice age. Whenever the offspring hatched, it started a very complicated song. The song would trigger the parents' brains to instantly stop their hearts, their corpses would feed the offspring and the cold would preserve the meat. When the ice age was over, they evolved for better conditions, and the chicks who didn't kill their parents with the song survived. But somehow the part of the DNA that encoded the song trigger didn't mutate away over ages, and one day the humanity found an egg perfectly preserved from an ice age. Future scientists cloned the specimen and when the chick hatched, it sang the song on a life stream, killing billions of people watching it.

Depending on the person I'll either say something incredibly lascivious, or ask them about videogames
