Opening of one of the shows I really loved as a kid
In case you're an artist, and you're feeling like your art is mediocre.
It always looks like its lacking from the artist's point of view, when you've drawn for so long that it doesn't feel like art anymore -- its second nature, it feels mundane. I don't think you'll feel the same way looking at your art the same way you do other people's arts.
You feel like there's always something missing, always something to improve, and wonder 'when will it be enough?' 'When will it be good?'
And to be honest, I don't know when either. I feel the same way. But what I do, and what I can say, is to think of all the time you spent drawing until now, everything you learned and created, every compliment people gave you, and the effort you took to reach this level of talent. Even if you don't feel like its good.
Draw when you feel inspired. You don't have to do it now, if you don't feel like it. There's no pressure, you have all the time in the world, to create anything you want.
