One day, Mark was leaving his house to buy bread. But then he tripped, because he had become a duck.
Surprised, he tried to grab the rail, but he could only flap his wings uselessly. He screamed for help, but only duck noises came from his throat.
Mark panicked, as he felt his human knowledge quickly fading as it adjusted to his new avian brain. He screamed, seeing the memories of his family, friends and co-workers vanishing from his mind one by one.
He didn't want to forget, but the memories were escaping his mind, and he could do nothing about it. He forgot his knowledge, he forgot how to speak and program.
But then, he calmed down, for he was just a duck now. The duck took flight, and went on to look for bread.
