"Eat Vittles, LLC"
These item shows up in my Login items and I have no idea which app it belongs to. There is a Vittles Nothing with this name on my phone or various computers, iPad. I search for invisible files, nothing. There are a few iOS Vittles apps, none of which I have downloaded. Any ideas what this is and how I can get rid of it? Thanks

How do we get support for the Barbee app?
I tried sending email to the developer ( object.xiang@gmail.com ) but they haven't replied yet. It's only been three days, so I don't know whether I should expect a reply at all, or in a while, or not at all. For what it's worth, I "donated" to become a "VIP" user. I am on the Test Flight version because I'm on Tahoe.
M3 Max MacBook Pro with macOS 26.0.1
Is there a better way to get support than by sending email?
Is the developer usually pretty responsive?
Thank you!

I Built the "Second Brain" for Your Clipboard (And It Stays 100% Private)
[https:\/\/copymagic.app - LIFETIME ACCESS.](https://preview.redd.it/izjicqt3euvf1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=c4dec79edf6e5c6c2adacecf622dfa238ae698e5)
Let's talk about that moment.
That sharp unpleasure when you realize the link, the perfect phrase, or the vital confirmation code you copied 30 minutes ago is gone. Swept away by the next copy command.
You're a power user. You rely on muscle memory. But your clipboard, the very tool meant to hold your temporary thoughts, is the biggest bottleneck to your focus. It's a source of constant, low-grade tension.
You're losing intellectual effort.
**The Breakthrough: Search Your Memory, Not a Log**
I was tired of feeling that mental friction, so I built **CopyMagic**.
It’s not another list-based clipboard manager. It’s a semantic search engine for everything you've ever copied on your Mac.
* You don't need the exact words. Search naturally, the way you think: "Slack link about SaaS growth" or "ticket details from WhatsApp".
* CopyMagic understands the idea, and surfaces the result instantly.
* Stop Recreating Work. Find that line of code, that complex address, or the screenshot you copied last week. Your effort is preserved.
For a tool that touches every thought on your Mac, **privacy is not a feature; it's a foundation.**
* Your data never leaves your machine.
* You can blacklist specific apps (like password managers or banking windows) to ensure sensitive information is never even stored.
**CopyMagic** is the psychological relief you get when the technology perfectly aligns with your cognitive needs.
I'm eager for feedback from this community, the true Mac power users.
Check out **CopyMagic** here: [https://copymagic.app](https://copymagic.app)
Quick Highlights:
* Semantic Search (Text, Links, Media)
* Lightning-Fast Retrieval
* 100% Private/Local Storage
* Blacklist Apps for zero-storage control
P.S. As a developer, seeing my own clipboard friction vanish has been the biggest reward. Hope it helps yours too.

Is SigmaOS dead?
So, I was using Arc, then it was moved to mainistance mode. Then, I settled on SigmaOS, but there are no updates in more than 8+ months. I did some research and found no information from developer's about neither sunsetting the product nor new updates or explanations.
So, what's going on?

Built a desktop app that converts speech to formatted text with keyboard shortcuts
Hey everyone,
I've been working on a desktop companion app that lets you capture thoughts by speaking and instantly convert them to any format you need (lists, emails, reports, etc.) using keyboard shortcuts.
The workflow is pretty simple: hit a shortcut to start recording, speak naturally, then hit another shortcut to convert the raw trannoscript into whatever format you want—all without leaving your current app.
Made a quick demo video showing how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEweQbFpm4k
Currently testing it with existing users of web and mobile app of the app (already launched before)
Rolling out beta for macOS soon. Would love to hear thoughts from this community—especially on what formats or use cases you'd find most helpful.
P.S. I'd be happy to offer you 6 Months Pro access as soon as it's launched.

Battery Limitor app for Mac Tahoe
My Macbook Air M2 will stay plugged in all the time i want to limit it to 80% and use power adaptor as source almost all the time to preserve battery health. Battery Toolkit doesn't work on Tahoe. Is there any other free alternative that still works?

Looking for cooperation on app publishing
I'm seeking collaboration partners for publishing LaunchPad - a modern macOS application launcher built with SwiftUI. This project replaces Apple's deprecated Launchpad with a highly customizable interface.
What I'm Looking For:
Someone with a paid Apple Developer account
Understanding of macOS app distribution best practices
Optional experience with Mac App Store submission process
I don't have a paid Apple Developer ID. Currently the app is not properly signed and not notarized so some users receive a Malware or Unidentified developer warning. To make UX much better, I'd like some help. I'm open to any suggestion or publishing method.
If you're interested in collaborating on bringing this app to the Mac App Store or have experience with macOS app publishing, I'd love to connect and discuss potential partnership opportunities.
The app:

I don't get the massive hype for Bloom
This post is to bring contrast to the glowing reviews posts in r/macapps and online.
I came across many articles praising it so I decided to let my QSpacePro down for a minute and give this Bloom a try. While it is ultimately more fluid and nail down the finder design, I had some issues with file permissions despite giving it the same as others, the batch renamer replace placeholder is laggy and break the whole workflow, amount of customization and options much less than in QSpacePro, and globally it still feel in beta compared to QspacePro despite being more fluid I'll give you that. The sidebar customizer nowhere near. Toolbar management is quite annoying too to the vast options of the alternatives.
Anyway this post is not to shit on Bloom at all, it's a great app and still relatively new so good potential. But in its current state, I don't understand the massive praise that it's receiving especially when stuff like QSP already exists.
It has potential to become the best of the best, but isn't quite there yet.

The Very Best FREE Macintosh Software!
Hi everyone! I'm excited to announce that my most popular Web site:
The Very Best FREE Macintosh Software!
at:
http://www.macattorney.com/free.html
has been extensively updated, and there are now over 300 pieces of free software listed!! I think any any Mac user who peruses the site will find a number of free apps that will surprise and delight them! All of the software has been vetted for usability and desirability.
Among the updated listings are several exciting new programs which utilize artificial intelligence, notebook-type programs, drivers for scanners and mice that will endow them with new features, timers, scrapboard managers, etc.
By popular demand, the page marks new additions as "new."
As always, the page is completely free and completely non-commercial. I don't make a cent from it.
I want to point out that I'm not an expert Web developer...far from it. I'm just an enthusiast. So the site looks a bit amateurish. But hopefully it is still very useful and interesting.
I also acknowledge that the site doesn't yet support HTTPS. I'm getting to it. (If this turns you off, please just ignore the page, rather than harassing me about it.)
Please spread the word about the Web site to others!

Rectangle, Raycast or Wins Window Manager for most Windows like feel
I know MacOS isn't supposed to be Windows, but being a Windows User my whole life I need to make my lofe easier with my new apple machine.
Which one of the three would you recommend? Which one is the best for my use case?
Recatngle costs 10 €, Wins one time purchase without updates 14 €, Raycast free version? Or is pro necessary? It would cost like 100 € a year.. that wpuld be a no.
