I have been constantly forgetting to say that I finished The Sandman by Netflix. The tendency retained: the less faithful the directors were, the better was the final product (except for The Dream of The Thousand Cats which was identical to the comic and perfect by itself). Considering that The Doll's House arc is among my favourites, I highly appreciate what was done. However much the scenery, the noscript and the characters have changed, it all delivers. I bet that if they went for word-to-word, character-to-character, scene-to-scene translation, they would have had a soulless product that neither works nor has any value. And only by letting themselves free of the constraints they have recreated the masterpiece in the new medium. The soul emerged anew, reborn, and the value added, not substracted.

So I finished. 9/11, I guess?
