The realisation that human-made things are inadvertently faulty and imperfect is not disappointing, it is liberating and inspiring. If no one achieved perfection, nothing stops us from attempts to attain it ourselves. No software has no bugs, no model is free of unfulfilled assumptions, and no human is devoid of faults. This means that our work has the very same right to exist as the work of others. We have every right to procreate, as there’s no God.

One might find themselves lost: how do I move forward without a guide, a teacher, a mentor, a parent, a sensei, an authority, a God, or a master? Who’s gonna save me when I make a mistake or fail utterly? No one‘s gonna come and save us, we are left to our own devices.

But at least we have each other. As lost as we are, but the only ones who can understand ourselves. Isn’t that beautiful?
