The first principle of getting stuff done is to either do it at once or never. Once the thought of doing smth appears, one shall proceed immediately, otherwise the thought will disappear, and with it the action will never conceive.

Unless, the thought won’t disappear. That requires either a large issue at hand that is bound to maintain the thought alive, or recording the thought. However, unattended records become funerals of ideas and intentions. Unless one has a system to convert the recordings into reality, such as scheduling the intentions into a calendar and necessarily following through. However, if one’s constantly rescheduling tasks in it, they render the calendar useless, a mere to-do list, a once again notorious funeral of intentions.

Sharing the intentions with other people won’t prevent them from disappearing, but rather contribute to their inevitable demise.
