Putin congratulates mainstream media on the sheer gravity of its subversion!
With the NATO war drums beating for Ukraine, it appears the "defense alliance" is counting on Russia to make the first move. And when it doesn't - it can be made to look like it did. It wouldn't be the first time after all...

Let's go back to 2008 when Georgian tanks, under the guidance of tie-eating puppet Saakashvili, rolled into Tskhinvali (a disputed de facto republic of South Ossetia, on the border with Russia's North Ossetia); the usual culprits reported these to be Russian tanks - CNN, BBC, Reuters etc.

Russian tanks did roll in when several Russian peacekeepers in the region were killed - blowing Georgian forces out of the water, decisively ending the stand off. "What did you expect we would do - come at you with a slingshot?" - Putin asks.

China, Where Everything Vanishes

Editors and headline writers in the 'western' press seem to have certain cliches about certain countries. It is why one can make lists with 111 headlines which say that Russia is weaponizing this or that. Another one is that whatever...
Amazing what can happen when you talk to Russia, using old fashioned diplomacy, instead of issuing threats to Moscow.

NATO members could perhaps learn something from neutral Ireland.
#Ukraine #Zelensky regime publicly admits it's not going to fulfill #MinskAgreement

"Ukraine’s security chief warned the West on Monday against forcing the country to fulfill a peace deal for eastern Ukraine brokered by France and Germany, charging that an attempt to implement it could trigger internal unrest that would benefit Moscow."

All #Russia's concerns always were about #US and #NATO expansion and militarisation on Russia's doorstep

During the Cold War China (then hostile) wasn’t the world’s 2nd most valuable economy, and the Soviet Union was reliant on grain imports.

Russia is now the world’s biggest wheat exporter & Moscow, today, has superb relations with Beijing.

"A bill that could hand Ukraine $500 million in economic aid, currently on a fast track through the US legislature, could offer major opportunities for American energy companies, who will be granted new leeway to build infrastructure in eastern Europe."

#Russia #US sanctions

"We've been sanctioned so many times that we lost count," said Vasily Nebenzya during a press briefing at the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday while warning of a potential backlash. "I hope they will have enough reason not to move forward with that. But that will backfire."
