Инцидент произошел в Покровском храме Смелы. Священника Василия Мирошниченко вытолкали из церкви вооруженные сторонники перехода храма в ПЦУ. Сейчас отец Василий жив и здоров.

По данным УПЦ, людей с оружием в храм привел священник Николай Середич, который служит в этом храме и в последнее время призывал к переходу в ПЦУ.
