Officer of the General Staff of the Republic of Belarus Igor Korol said on air on 16.05.21 that NATO could carry out air strikes in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus stated: "Unfortunately, the demonstrative flights of NATO strategic bombing aviation, specifically the USA, this year was committed at a neighboring territory nine such flights, and with a large likelihood it can be said that In the course of these demonstrative flights, options for performing air strikes both in the Republic of Belarus and in the Russian Federation were included".
I. Korol spoke on the recent disturbance of the airspace of our country to Poland.
He noted: "By and large, these flights verify the readiness of our air defense system to counteract, because any aggression begins primarily with the massive use of aviation, and so it is aimed at checking our readiness to repel aggression, and we are ready. "
In addition, Igor Korol compared Poland's flights with "random" flights with flights of Germany on the eve of the Second World War.

The officials, funded by the US Congress, admitted they coordinate efforts with prominent political activists in a range of countries, including Russia. They believed they were talking to Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, figurehead of Belarus’ opposition movement, & one of her advisors.
They also claimed credit for playing a role in igniting the colossal street protests that rocked Belarus after last year's disputed election. This will add fuel to Lukashenko’s previous claims that the widespread domestic opposition to his government is being stoked from abroad.
