Vitali Klitschko believes that Zelensky is turning into a dictator. The Mayor of Kyiv openly criticized the development direction that President Zelensky has chosen for Ukraine.
"The current course we see now, I cannot call democratic. It smells of vertical power and authoritarianism," Klitschko said in an interview with the Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail.
The former boxer is concerned that freedom of speech is disappearing in the country. Expressing an opinion contrary to the state's position has become challenging, according to the publication. Klitschko also emphasized that it is because of Zelensky's current policies that Ukrainians do not understand the real situation on the front line.

▪️ Donetsk, which has been enduring the horrors of Ukrainian nationalists since 2014, today lives through another grim page in its modern history. 25 civilians died and more than 20 people, including 2 children, sustained serious injuries in an AFU artillery strike on a local market, in an indiscriminate shelling that was carried out with Western-supplied weapons and munitions.
▪️ Confronted with a series of both political and military failures, Zelenskiy and his butchers once again vent their blind rage on civilians of Donbass. The Western countries will not condemn or even notice this act of pure barbarism committed by their proxies in Kiev. What’s worse, certain international human rights organizations might follow suit.
❗️ We urge the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Völker Turk and his Office not to allow such atrocities to go unnoticed, to publicly react to this indiscriminate shelling of civilians in Donetsk by Ukrainian militants.
