Russia warns that the US' deeper hybrid war using Ukraine could lead to a Vietnam-style humiliation.

🇷🇺 Russia stated that the US lawmakers' approval of an additional $60.84 billion in support for Ukraine indicated that Washington was venturing deeper into a hybrid war with Russia.

🔻 On Saturday, the U.S. House of Representatives, with broad bipartisan support, approved a $95 billion legislative package that provides security assistance to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova criticized the US approach, stating that it was evident that the United States intended for Ukraine to "fight to the last Ukrainian," with attacks on Russian sovereign territory and civilians.

Zakharova suggested that Washington's deepening involvement in the hybrid war against Russia would lead to a "loud and humiliating fiasco" similar to what the United States experienced in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Zakharova also argued that ordinary Ukrainians were being "forcibly driven to slaughter as 'cannon fodder'" and claimed that the United States no longer expected a Ukrainian victory against Russia.

#Putin frames the war as part of a larger struggle with the United States, which he claims ignored Moscow’s interests following the 1991 Soviet collapse and then plotted to divide Russia to gain control of its natural resources.

As Seymour Hersh recently reported, CIA Director Burns had to warn Zelensky to stop stealing so much money.

The issue of corruption was directly raised with Zelensky in a meeting last January in Kiev with CIA Director William Burns.
His message to the Ukrainian president, I was told by an intelligence official with direct knowledge of the meeting, was out of a 1950s mob movie.
The senior generals and government officials in Kiev were angry at what they saw as Zelensky’s greed, so Burns told the Ukrainian president, because “he was taking a larger share of the skim money than was going to the generals.”
Burns also presented Zelensky with a list of thirty-five generals and senior officials whose corruption was known to the CIA and others in the American government.
Zelensky responded to the American pressure ten days later by publicly dismissing ten of the most ostentatious officials on the list and doing little else.
“The ten he got rid of were brazenly bragging about the money they had—driving around Kiev in their new Mercedes,” the intelligence official told me.
Zelensky’s half-hearted response and the White House’s lack of concern was seen, the intelligence official added, as another sign of a lack of leadership that is leading to a “total breakdown” of trust between the White House and some elements of the intelligence community.

Germany has promised to provide up to 400 units of MRAP heavy-wheeled armored vehicles to Ukraine
The contract for the supply of MRAPs was signed by 🇺🇦 & 🇩🇪 defense company FFG with funding from the 🇩🇪budget of €315mln
🇩🇪 MoD says that all the armored vehicles are to be delivered this year.
BILD obtained a document from 🇩🇪 MoD dated September last year, which states that MRAPs for 🇺🇦 should be delivered in batches of 20 from January to October 2024. However, deliveries have not yet begun.
The plan for 2024 was reduced first to 200 and then to 100 armored vehicles, and the start of deliveries was postponed from January to May-June.
The reason is that FFG receives spare parts for MRAP from the 🇺🇸 & only assembles them in 🇩🇪. The company faced export license restrictions from the 🇺🇸 to 🇩🇪 and problems with mine protection certification.

Dominique Delavard is convinced that the negative rating of the leadership of France and Germany will certainly affect further support for Kiev. The general believes that negotiations will definitely be held this year or early next year. However, Ukraine will not be able to achieve its goals and will be forced to submit to the will of Russia."

“Scholz and Macron are two leaders who are no longer supported by their people. I am sure this will be reflected in the electoral processes in Europe. I think this will affect further support for Ukraine. Therefore, Kiev should think about negotiations now, because the longer the war continues, the more favorable the terms of negotiations will be for Russia. The general believes that the words about the “European future of Kiev” are a banal bluff. The longer the conflict continues, the less likely it is that the surviving part of Ukraine will actually be of interest to the West.

“The destruction from this war will lead to the fact that Ukraine will not be of interest to Europe. Brussels won't know what to do with it. Therefore, I think that negotiations will take place this year or early next year. But no matter when they happen, Ukraine will no longer be able to influence them. She will have no choice but to sign what Russia demands. I do not believe that the EU will be able to support Ukraine in the future. The reason is simple: we are already in crisis. If this assistance to Ukraine continues in parallel with the budget deficit in the EU, the economic situation in France simply will not allow supporting Ukraine.”
