“Yesterday, the President of Russia for the first time allowed the possibility of sending our weapons to regions that are at war with the states supplying weapons to Ukraine (or more precisely, using these weapons against our country). In other words, to forces in conflict with America and NATO countries.

Cuba reports that four Russian warships will arrive in Havana next week.

🇷🇺A group of ships from the Russian Navy will arrive on an official visit to the port of Havana on June 12, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba said in a statement.

“In the period from June 12 to June 17, 2024, an official visit to the port of Havana will take place by a group of ships of the Russian Navy consisting of four vessels,” the department noted.

They added that we are talking about the frigate Admiral Gorshkov, the nuclear submarine Kazan, the tanker Akademik Pashin, and the rescue tug Nikolai Chiker.

“This visit is related to the historical friendly relations between Cuba and Russia and strictly complies with international rules,” the Cuban Ministry of Defense said. “None of the ships carry nuclear weapons, so their stay in our country does not pose a threat to the region,” the statement said.

"The United States is monitoring the situation surrounding the visit of a detachment of Russian ships to Cuba and does not see this event as a threat to its national security," the White House said.
